How to reconstitute DSIP: mixing and storage

An experimental sleep peptide with small, mixed human studies and no FDA-approved dose.

Also called: Delta sleep-inducing peptide, Delta-sleep-inducing peptide, Emideltide.

Sleep peptides · Experimental nine-amino-acid peptide with uncertain sleep-signaling targets.

Comes as: Freeze-dried powder vials reported by users, Homemade or premixed nasal sprays reported by users.

Mixed with: Community reports use bacteriostatic water for injections and sterile saline for nasal sprays. Neither is an approved DSIP sleep formulation..

Common vial sizes: 5, 10 mg. Common water amounts: 2, 3, 10 mL.

  • Reported examples: 5 mg with 2 mL or 3 mL bacteriostatic water; 10 mg with 10 mL saline for a nasal preparation.
  • These are community mixing amounts. They do not establish stability, a sterile process or a validated delivered nasal dose.
  • Syringe units measure volume, not peptide mass. Spray output must be measured; it cannot be assumed from bottle volume.
  • A trial’s IV diluent or dose does not validate home subcutaneous or nasal preparation.

Before mixing: No validated dry-vial storage schedule was found for the community products described.

After mixing: No verified DSIP-specific after-mixing shelf life was found. A clear solution does not establish sterility or potency.
