How Vesugen works

An experimental blood-vessel peptide with unclear benefits and poorly defined safety.

Also called: Vezugen, KED, Lys-Glu-Asp, T-38.

Khavinson bioregulator peptides · Synthetic vascular tripeptide.

In cell studies, it changes signals linked to growth and aging in blood-vessel lining cells. Some researchers propose that it affects which genes are active. No specific receptor or proven mechanism in people has been established.

  • Ki-67 and p53: Cell experiments found more growth-marker expression and less p53 expression.
  • Endothelin-1, connexins and SIRT1: Expression changed in cultured vessel cells; this does not prove improved circulation in people.

Half-life: Unknown in humans.
