Vesugen side effects and risks

Reported side effects

  • Allergic or injection-related reactions: No compound specific rate is established. These are general risks of unapproved peptide products., serious. Stop use and seek care for a spreading reaction or signs of infection. (source)
  • Other short- and long-term effects: No reliable adverse event denominator is available., moderate. Report new symptoms and the exact product, dose, route and timing. (source)
  • Prooxidant and blood-cell-marker changes: One 32 person report noted increased oxidation signals and lower circulating CD34+ cells; no rates or clinical harms were quantified., moderate. Discuss unexplained bruising, infection or fatigue and whether a blood count is needed. (source)

Stop and get help if

  • Trouble breathing, throat swelling, widespread hives or collapse: Call emergency services now; these may be signs of anaphylaxis.
  • Fever with confusion, rapid breathing or a very painful spreading injection-site infection: Get emergency care now; severe infection can progress quickly.
  • Sudden face droop, one-sided weakness, speech trouble or vision loss: Call emergency services now, even if symptoms improve. These can be stroke signs.
  • Chest pressure or pain with shortness of breath, sweating or lightheadedness: Call emergency services now for possible heart attack.

Who should avoid it

  • pregnant: Precaution: no reliable pregnancy safety data for this peptide.
  • breastfeeding: Precaution: transfer into milk and infant effects are unknown.
  • tryingToConceive: Precaution: fertility and early-pregnancy effects are unknown.
  • under18: Precaution: no reliable pediatric safety evidence was located.
  • kidneyDisease: Clearance and dose adjustment in kidney disease are unknown.
  • liverDisease: No liver-disease dose or safety study was located.
  • testedAthlete: The 2026 S0 rule is expected to prohibit this unapproved substance at all times.
  • activeCancer: Precaution: KED alters cell-growth and IGF1 signals in culture. Effects on tumor growth in people are unknown.
  • cancerHistory: Small post-cancer dental reports do not establish recurrence safety.
  • bleedingDisorder: Patent claims include changes in clotting tests; effects on bleeding and thrombosis are unconfirmed.
  • heartCondition: Small vascular reports do not show protection from heart attack or stroke.

Interactions

  • Anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs: Interaction unstudied. Patent clotting-test changes make combined use a precaution, not a proven interaction.
  • Cyclophosphamide: KED reduced cyclophosphamide growth suppression in rat tissue culture. Whether this affects cancer therapy is unknown.
  • Other experimental bioregulators and recovery peptides: Small reports and forum stacks cannot establish interaction safety or attribute effects to one peptide.

Product quality risks

  • No independent published market-testing study specific to this peptide was located.
  • General peptide warnings describe wrong strength, wrong ingredients and microbial contamination.
  • An online semaglutide study found low purity and endotoxin. This does not measure contamination in this peptide.

How Vesugen works

In cell studies, it changes signals linked to growth and aging in blood-vessel lining cells. Some researchers propose that it affects which genes are active. No specific receptor or proven mechanism in people has been established.

  • Ki-67 and p53: Cell experiments found more growth-marker expression and less p53 expression.
  • Endothelin-1, connexins and SIRT1: Expression changed in cultured vessel cells; this does not prove improved circulation in people.

Half-life: Unknown in humans.

Gaps: No registered human trial, reliable pharmacokinetic study or dose-finding program was found. No human subcutaneous or intranasal studied maximum is known; oral and patent IM amounts cannot supply one. Human reports often omit doses, arm counts, adverse-event rates or numerical outcomes. Several cohorts may overlap. The 2014 vascular record has a title/abstract mismatch. An inaccessible 2016 conference report mentions 59 patients; overlap and full methods need checking. A 2005-2006 developer report is distributed through sellers; independent primary verification was not obtained. Long-term cancer, reproductive, immune and organ safety remain unknown. No verified microdosing ladder or validated storage instructions were found.
