What does FOXO4-DRI do? Benefits and evidence
An experimental cell-clearing peptide with mouse findings and no established human dose.
Also called: FOXO4 DRI, FOXO4-D-retro-inverso, FOX04-DRI, Proxofim.
Senolytic peptides · Experimental FOXO4-p53 interaction-disrupting peptide · Evidence: Animal studies only.
FOXO4-DRI is designed to kill some senescent cells, which are damaged cells that stop dividing. Mouse and cell studies report benefits, but no human dosing study was found. It has no approved dose or proven longevity benefit in people. Animal lung and liver harm signals make safety a major gap.
- In mouse studies, it cleared some worn-out (senescent) cells and improved selected health measures. (animal)
- In aged mice, it raised testosterone and improved sperm quality; this has not been tested in people. (animal)
- People report trying it in hopes of clearing aging cells, but better health in people has not been shown. (Reported by users)
Uses in the sources
- People self-experiment hoping to clear senescent cells. Longer life or better health in people has not been demonstrated. (Reported by users) (source)
- Forum users seek joint or tissue benefits. Human cartilage-cell experiments did not show improved cartilage formation. (Reported by users) (source)
- Some users track testosterone after use. Mouse findings do not prove higher testosterone or fertility in people. (Reported by users) (source)
