How CJC-1295 with DAC works
An experimental long-acting peptide that triggers growth hormone release, with no proven muscle or recovery benefit.
Also called: CJC-1295 DAC, DAC:GRF, DAC-GRF.
GHRH analogues · Long-acting GHRH receptor agonist with an albumin-binding tag.
It mimics the signal that tells the pituitary to release growth hormone. The DAC tag attaches to blood albumin, prolonging exposure. GH then raises IGF-1. In one small study, normal bursts continued while the baseline GH level rose.
- GHRH receptor: Stimulates pituitary growth hormone release.
- Serum albumin: DAC forms a long-lasting attachment that prolongs exposure.
- GH–IGF-1 pathway: Raises circulating IGF-1; a hormone change does not establish a health benefit.
Half-life: 5.8–8.1 days after a single dose; repeat-dose estimates 5.4–9.2 days.
