How to store Bremelanotide
An as-needed injection for low libido before menopause; nausea is common.
Also called: PT-141, PT141, Vyleesi.
Melanocortin agonists · Melanocortin receptor agonist · Evidence: Approved drug.
Comes as: Vyleesi single-dose prefilled autoinjector, 1.75 mg/0.3 mL.
Mixed with: None. The approved pen is not reconstituted..
- Inspect before use. Discard cloudy, discolored or visibly particulate solution.
Before mixing: Store at or below 25°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
After mixing: Ready-made single-dose solution; discard the device after use.
Vyleesi single-dose autoinjectors: store at or below 25 C, protected from light; do not freeze. The solution needs no mixing; discard the autoinjector after one use.
