Stop and get help if
- Throat or tongue swelling, wheeze or trouble breathing: Stop exposure and call emergency services now; use prescribed adrenaline if available.
- Chest pain with breathlessness, sweating or faintness: Stop and call emergency services now.
- Confusion, seizure, collapse or low glucose that does not recover: Get emergency help. Do not give food or drink to an unconscious person.
- A painful, hot, swollen injection site or spreading redness: Seek urgent same-day care; rapid breathing, faintness or severe illness needs emergency help.
Who should avoid it
- pregnant: Precaution: no pregnancy exposure, fetal safety or reproductive-toxicity data were found.
- breastfeeding: Precaution: transfer into milk and effects on a nursing infant are unknown.
- tryingToConceive: Precaution: fertility effects and a safe washout interval are unknown.
- under18: Precaution: no pediatric dosing or developmental safety studies were found.
- heartCondition: Human heart safety is unknown; a mouse heart-failure result cannot establish benefit or safety in people.
- uncontrolledBloodPressure: No human blood-pressure safety data. Heart-rate and faintness complaints appear in unverified reports.
- diabetes: Human glucose responses are unknown. Both higher and lower glucose have been reported online.
- kidneyDisease: Human clearance and dose adjustment are unknown; mouse kidney findings do not establish a kidney-safe dose.
- liverDisease: Human liver preparations break down the compound; exposure and dose adjustment with liver disease are unknown.
- activeCancer: No cancer safety studies in people were found. Effects on cell energy pathways do not establish cancer safety.
- surgeryPlanned: Tell the anesthesia team about use and all solvents. No evidence-based time to stop before surgery is known.
- testedAthlete: Prohibited at all times. Not being named in the 2026 list does not make an unapproved drug permitted.
- other: A previous serious allergic reaction to this product or its solvent should stop repeat exposure.
Interactions
- Insulin: Insulin can cause low glucose. Added SLU-PP-332 effects and insulin-adjustment rules have not been studied in people.
- Sulfonylureas: These drugs can cause low glucose. Added effects and dose-adjustment rules with SLU-PP-332 have not been studied in people.
- GLP-1 drugs and retatrutide: No human combination trial found. Users report lightheadedness and variable glucose during multi-drug use.
- Other ERR agonists: Same-target combinations have no human safety data. SLU-PP-915 is a different compound, not an oral version of SLU-PP-332.
- BAM15 and other experimental metabolic drugs: Online combinations add unstudied metabolic effects; no protective or safe stacking schedule is known.
- Piperine absorption boosters: Oil/piperine mixtures are proposed online to alter exposure. Neither absorption nor interaction risk has been measured in people.
- Warfarin and other anticoagulants: No interaction data exist. This is an uncertainty screen for drugs where exposure changes or injection bleeding matter, not a proven drug interaction.
Product quality risks
- Health Canada warns that unauthorized injectable drugs have not been assessed for safety, efficacy or quality. This is general product-risk evidence.
- Wrong identity, wrong amount, microbial contamination and unsafe excipients are risks of unauthorized drugs; their frequency for SLU-PP-332 is unknown.
- No independent retail-product survey or SLU-PP-332-specific poison-center dataset was found. Vendor certificates are not a substitute.
- Powder purity does not establish dose per capsule/vial, solvent safety, sterility or endotoxin levels.
- Cloudy or settled mixtures can have uncertain dose uniformity. A clear appearance also cannot prove injection quality.
How SLU-PP-332 works
It turns on ERR proteins, switches inside cells that control energy-related genes. In mice, this increased fat burning and made muscle use oxygen more effectively. These switches are different from the receptors that respond to estrogen.
- ERRα, ERRβ and ERRγ: Activates genes involved in mitochondria and fuel use.
- ERRα-linked DDIT4 response: Drives part of an acute exercise-like gene response in mouse muscle.
Half-life: Human blood half-life unknown; the 31.3-minute figure is from isolated human liver microsomes.
Gaps: No human dose, efficacy trial, pharmacokinetic study or registered human study was found by October 18, 2026. Human donor tissue and human liver preparations are included as laboratory studies with humans=false; evidence.humanStudies counts dosed-human studies. No approved label or independently published clinician dosing protocol was found. All displayed dosing protocols are community reports. There is no human studied maximum. studiedMax is omitted rather than inventing a ceiling or converting a mouse dose. aboveStudied=false means no human comparator exists here, not that community doses are within a tested range. Human oral and sublingual absorption are unmeasured. SLU-PP-915 data and speculative oil/piperine formulations cannot fill that gap. A human 1–2-hour half-life claim was not verified. The 31.3-minute microsomal figure is not a circulating human half-life. Long-term, reproductive, cancer, heart, liver and kidney safety, and effects in children, are unknown. Clinical contraindications are not established by trials. Pregnancy, nursing, conception and age blocks are precautionary; other screens flag uncertainty. No validated monitoring interval, washout period, dose-adjustment rule or taper was found. Interactions with insulin, sulfonylureas, anticoagulants and common oral medicines are unstudied; no change in gastric emptying was established. No human combination trial was found for any listed pairing. SS-31 or MOTS-C has not been shown to prevent SLU-related harm. Community prevalence is not measurable from these selected threads. Commonness labels refer only to patterns seen in this search. nMentions counts one explicitly identified report where given; it is not a case rate or an estimate of all users. Reported fatigue, hormone symptoms and glucose changes lack verified contents, controls and causal confirmation. No validated home storage, sterile diluent, compatible vial concentration or beyond-use date was found. Common vial sizes and water volumes are unverified reports. The 10 mg/2 mL example was a question, not a completed preparation. No independent SLU-PP-332 product-contamination survey, counterfeit-pen study or poison-center series was found. Public 503A/503B lists had no entry. Historical nomination status, a compound-specific PCAC vote and legal compounding eligibility were not established. FDA warning-letter searches found no compound-specific letter; absence of a letter is not permission or approval. EU and UK searches were bounded; national EU registers and local possession/import rules were not exhaustively reviewed. No named Australian schedule entry was found; broader schedule and state/territory coverage remain uncertain. S0 is the 2026 rule-based classification here; the 2027 explicit S4 examples do not change the fact that use is already prohibited. Some mouse-paper dosing, timing and vehicle descriptions conflict internally; only clearly identified main regimens are summarized. Graph-only per-arm values were not estimated. Several animal experiments lack a single total sample size or quantified adverse-event rate. Canada: indexed product-database searches found no authorization; direct database access failed. A compound-specific legal classification was not fully verified.
