Studies
- Rat tendon repair: no added combination benefit. animal, n=32, 32 male rats after Achilles tendon transection and surgical repair; eight per group.. The pair did not outperform either ingredient alone in this small rat experiment. (source)
- BPC-157: blood-vessel signals. animal, Rat hind-limb ischemia, chick membrane and cultured human vessel cells; no people dosed.. BPC-157 increased vessel growth and VEGFR2–Akt–eNOS signaling in animal and cell experiments. (source)
- Full-length TB4: rat skin wounds. animal, Rats with full-thickness skin wounds and cultured migrating skin cells.. Full-length TB4 increased wound covering in rats; this does not establish effects of the TB-500 fragment. (source)
- GHK-Cu: connective tissue in rat wounds. animal, Rats with implanted wound chambers; GHK-Cu tested alone.. GHK-Cu increased collagen and other repair material in rat wound chambers; GLOW was not tested. (source)

GLOW blend (GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500) side effects and risks
Reported side effects
- Injection-site pain, redness or swelling: No reliable blend event rate; reports lack a denominator., moderate. Pause for persistent reactions; spreading heat or redness needs prompt assessment. (source)
- Serious allergic or immune reaction: FDA flags immune reaction risk; blend incidence is unknown., serious. Breathing trouble, throat swelling or collapse needs emergency care. (source)
- Infection from a contaminated injection: Product related risk; no measured blend rate., serious. Seek urgent care for fever with spreading redness or severe injection-site pain. (source)
- Fatigue or brain fog: One post describes two users also taking semaglutide; no causal link or population rate., moderate. Review other causes; the report does not prove copper poisoning. (source)
Stop and get help if
- Trouble breathing, throat swelling, collapse or fainting after an injection: Stop and call emergency services now.
- Hot, painful, spreading redness or swelling at an injection site: Stop injections and seek urgent same-day care; fever, confusion or fast breathing needs emergency care.
Who should avoid it
- pregnant: Precaution: no blend pregnancy safety data; pregnancy was excluded from the knee report.
- breastfeeding: Precaution: milk transfer and infant effects have not been studied for the blend.
- tryingToConceive: Precaution: reproductive safety and a safe washout period are unknown.
- under18: Precaution: no pediatric blend safety or dosing studies found.
- activeCancer: Precaution: ingredients promote blood-vessel growth in lab studies; effects on human tumors are unknown.
- cancerHistory: Review prior cancer with the treating clinician; long-term tumor effects have not been measured.
- kidneyDisease: Blend clearance and dose changes in kidney disease are unknown.
- liverDisease: Blend clearance and dose changes in liver disease are unknown.
- bleedingDisorder: Precaution for needle-related bruising and bleeding, especially with muscle injection.
- surgeryPlanned: Tell the surgical team about all ingredients; no safe perioperative stopping interval is established.
- testedAthlete: BPC-157 and TB-500 are prohibited at all times under the 2026 WADA list.
- other: Avoid re-exposure after a serious reaction; peptide impurities can trigger immune reactions.
- other: Precaution: GHK-Cu adds copper exposure; copper buildup can damage organs. No safe injectable blend dose is established.
Interactions
- Duplicate peptide products: Amounts add across vials and blends. No combination study establishes a safe total exposure.
- Oral anticoagulants: Muscle injections can increase bleeding or bruising. This is a needle-related risk; a chemical interaction with the blend is untested.
- Copper-containing supplements: Added copper may matter, especially in copper-handling disease. No safe combined exposure with injected GHK-Cu is established.
Product quality risks
- Label names may hide different TB4 molecules; fragment and full-length products are not interchangeable.
- FDA-reviewed ingredient COAs lacked some content, aggregate or endotoxin controls. HPLC purity alone cannot establish injection safety.
- Unauthorized injections may have wrong amounts, undeclared ingredients, microbes or endotoxins; blend defect rates are unknown.
How GLOW blend (GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500) works
The proposed idea combines copper-linked repair signals with BPC-157 and TB4-related signals. Ingredient studies suggest changes in collagen, blood vessels and cell movement. No experiment in people shows that this trio works together or that mixing improves results.
- GHK-Cu: connective-tissue remodeling: Increased collagen and other repair material in rat wound chambers.
- BPC-157: vessel-growth signaling: Changed VEGFR2-related signals in animals and cells.
- Full-length TB4: cell movement: Animal wound effects do not validate shorter TB-500 fragments or a mixed vial.
Half-life: Unknown for the blend; no human combination pharmacokinetic study found.
Gaps: No human triple-blend study, event rates or dose ceiling found. Ingredient studies and full-length TB4 trials cannot validate a premixed GLOW injection. No human maximum is established for daily under-skin or muscle injections of the blend. Ratios vary; forum doses may mean GHK-Cu mass, total blend mass or syringe units. The twice-daily fatigue report documents exposure, not a diagnosis of copper toxicity. No validated copper, zinc or liver-test schedule makes injected GLOW safe; routine zinc supplementation is not established. No blend stability, interaction, pregnancy, pediatric or long-term cancer-safety studies found. Prevalence is an impression from a small search sample, not a measured use rate. No independent survey quantified contamination, underdosing or misidentification in GLOW vials. EU national authorization and UK import or possession rules were not established; no legal status is inferred from availability online.
